Description of study drawings.
The study drawings functions as a pratice or preparation for the real work, normally a painting or graphics.
I have chosen to show them on this side.
The study drawings have to main purposes, to pratice drawing and to practice observing the enviroment, as here an onion.
The drawing have been finalised , since the shape is in place, the light and shadows are described, and the room surrounding the onion is described derudover er arbejdet med rummet.
Light and shadow have been created using a technic called hatching.
In this drawing of an animal skull, the drop shadow have been described clearly. By the drop shadow, I mean the shadow that the figure casts.
This shape is far more complex than that of an onion, both the propotions and the shape of the figure have been a focus point in the work.
In this drawing of lemons, the lines appering in the cutting suface of the lemon have been drawn, as a way to describe the texture.
In the drawing of the mushoom, there have been a similar approach, but supported by hatching and coloring using colorpencils.
