The plague doctors, Pharmacists & Barbers.
The plague doctors can be more different types:
The real trained plague doctors is usually surgeon or doctors. These are expensive.
The term plague doctor covers over both the surgeons and doctors.
Surgeons and doctors looks the same.
Barbers and pharmacists are considered citizens or general traders, as well as the witches also perform treatments etc.
The surgeon.

Conversation with a plague doctor.
The term plague doctor covers both surgeons and doctors, while pharmacists and barbers are citizens, see conversation chart for citizens.
The player clicks on one character to indicate that she / he whishes to speak with the character.

If there is initiated a persecution of the Jews, which happens if ¼ of the population is dying of plague, then the player can advice the plague doctor to be alert, if the citizen is Jewish. This count as a favor. The same thing applies for the witches if the persecution of the Jews have started, since witches also will persecuted, then. |
